My favorite book: Gone Girl

I´m always with a book on my backpack, I love reading books while I´m walking to the University or when I´m on the subway. Mostly of the books that I read are about football, but also I have read a couple of novels. Is very difficult to me to choose my favorite book because there´s a lot that I like so much. Anyway, if I have to choose only one book, I think that my favorite is Gone Girl, a novel wrote by Gillian Flynn.

The novel tells the story of a women -Amy Dunne- who dissapears and, suddenly, every single clue the police and the detectives find incriminates Nick Dunne, her husband. At first he says he didn´t do it, but every day another hint appears and starts to be a little obvious that he killed her.

At the beggining the novel describes day by day what Nick thinks and does since the day Amy dissapears. On the other hand, we can read some chapters that are from the diary of Amy, days before her disappearence. On that diary she tells that her relationship with Nick is in a bad moment and they fight a lot.

I don´t want to ruin you the end, because I think you all would love this book, but let me say you this: the end isn´t obvious at all. I know that maybe not all of you like read like me, so you need to know that in 2014 David Fincher directed the movie based on the novel, with Ben Affleck and Rosamun Pike as Mike and Amy. I hope that all enjoy it like me :)

  1. Wow, it sounds very interesting, I do not usually read many books, but this one seems very compelling.
